The dashboard inbox is the main view of every case in a workspace. Mailboxes partition cases, filters narrow what's visible, and columns come from the workspace's templates.
What you need
- A workspace with at least one case
What the inbox shows
The inbox is a table of cases, one row per case. Each column maps to a top-level template field across the workspace's templates (deduped by field.id, filtered by workspace field-visibility config). Click a row to open the case detail panel. Click a column header to sort.
Sections
Sidebar
The workspace sidebar lists every workspace you have access to. Inside the active workspace, an All Mailboxes entry sits above the workspace's mailboxes (Inbox, Archived, Trash, plus any custom mailboxes you've added). Click a mailbox to switch the table to that view.
Filter strip
Filters appear as click-to-toggle pills above the table. Each pill is a saved expression — toggle it on to narrow the visible cases, off to clear it. Filters stack with the active mailbox.
Column header row
Click a column header to sort by that column. Hidden and visible columns are controlled by workspace settings → field visibility, not by a per-header context menu.
Case rows
Each row is one case. Click to open. Drag a row onto a mailbox in the sidebar to move it. Per-row quick-action menus aren't available on the inbox row — use the case detail panel's ⋯ overflow menu for case-level actions.
