Field placement is exact and deterministic. You set position, size, and page on the canvas, and autofill writes to the same spot every run.

What you need
- A template with a base PDF and at least one field
- The template studio open
How placement works
The template studio shows your base PDF on a canvas. Click a field in the Fields panel, then click on the canvas — the field lands at that point with a default size. Drag the corners to resize, or drag the box itself to move it.
The system never guesses where values should land. The template configuration is the source of truth: a value lands exactly where you placed it, not where the AI thinks it should go.
Step by step
- Click a field in the Fields panel.
- Click on the canvas where the value should appear.
- Drag the placement corners to resize. Drag the box to move it.
- Use the page selector to switch between pages of a multi-page PDF.
- Click Save.
