Upload a file when creating a new case (drag-drop or browse), or attach one to an existing case from the Edit Case form. A category is required either way.

What you need

  • Edit access to the workspace
  • At least one file category in the workspace (templates declare these — see Creating and managing categories)
  • A PDF or image file

Path 1 — upload while creating a case

  1. From the dashboard toolbar, open the Create New Case modal.
  2. Drag a file into the dropzone, or click to browse.
  3. Pick a File Category from the dropdown.
  4. Optionally type a case identifier or description.
  5. Click Create Case. The file is uploaded and queued for template extraction.

Path 2 — attach a file to an existing case

  1. Open the case and click Edit.
  2. In the Upload File section, choose a file via the file picker.
  3. Pick a File Category.
  4. Optionally add a description.
  5. Click Upload to Case. The file is uploaded immediately — you don't need to click Save Changes for the upload itself.
