What happens when I stop paying

Your account moves to the Free plan. Everything you have stays and stays readable. Creating and editing cases, automations, uploads beyond the Free cap, and AI beyond the Free allowance pause until you pay again. Free accounts that nobody uses for 180 days are deleted after three warnings and a 30-day recovery window. Signing in or opening the app while signed in counts as use. Export first from Settings.

When a subscription ends, or a payment fails and every retry fails too, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted.

What stays

Your workspaces, templates, cases, files, teammates, and portal clients are all still there. You and your teammates can open the dashboard, read every case, open and download every file, and manage your team and billing. Portal clients keep their links.

What pauses

Creating and editing cases, running templates on cases, composing Gmail drafts, and every automation. Each automation card shows Paused: automations need a Pro plan until you pay again. Uploads beyond the Free storage cap are refused, and AI stops when the Free allowance is used up.

Getting back

Open Settings then Account and click Manage billing to update your card or restart the subscription. The moment the plan is active again, everything resumes: automations that were paused for the plan switch back on by themselves.

Inactive accounts

A Free account that nobody in the organization uses for 180 days is deleted. Use means signing in, or opening the app while you are still signed in. You get three warning emails first, 30 days, 10 days, and 1 day before the account is marked, and then a 30-day recovery period during which any use by you or an active teammate cancels the deletion. A teammate's use keeps both their own account and the organization owner's account. Paying accounts are never deleted for inactivity.

Taking your files with you

Open Settings, then Account, then the Export row. Copy to Drive copies every case file into your own Google Drive under a folder named Document Blueprint Export, one folder per workspace and one per case; connect Drive first, on any plan. The copy runs in the background, the row shows progress, and you get an email when it finishes that lists any file that could not be copied. Download data saves a JSON file with every workspace, template, and case, including field values, history, and the Drive path of each file from your last copy.
