When you change a template, the cases it already ran on keep the data and documents from the earlier version. You can bring them up to date together.
After you save a template, the editor shows a notice when earlier cases may be affected. Press Review cases. The dashboard opens and lists only the cases made with an earlier version of that template.
Press Select cases and tick the cases you want. On the bar, choose what to update:
- Update case data reads each case's document again with the current template. Values a person typed are kept.
- Make new documents also makes a new document for each case. Choose what happens to the earlier document: keep it and rename it, keep its name and mark the new one, or replace it.
A signed copy is a separate file and is never changed.
Press Bring up to date. The assistant shows how many cases are ready and how many need an answer from you, and waits for you to reply yes. Nothing runs before that.
Each case uses AI. If your usage runs out, the remaining cases stay on the list and you can run them later. One run handles up to 100 cases.
If you added a question to the template, the assistant asks it for each case that has no answer. The case opens beside the chat so you can read it. Type the answer and press Save and next, or press Skip to leave that case for later. Each case starts as soon as its answer is saved.
You can close the chat at any time. Saved answers are kept and started cases keep running.
